As a chain in a touristy area I wasn't really expecting much of this place but it really exceeded expectations! They have a choose your own type of dish with your choice of fish and compound butter with a side of mashed potatoes and seasonal veggies. I had the salmon with the jalapeno herb that really hit the spot - the salmon was cooked perfectly and was of good quality (none of that fishy smell/taste). The service was a bit slow but they were packed. I also thought they could've been more forthcoming with options on seating. They didn't mention the bar at all (which was coincidentally completely empty and also has bar top tables) and only wanted to mention that seating options were 45min to an hour long. The crab dip comes in a skillet with unlimited bread. The bread is nothing special, coated with (too much) garlic and butter. The crab in the dip isn't of great quality but who would've expected it to be, I suppose. They could do with some eco friendly changes - they put straws in your drinks without asking. Straws are a commonly non-recyclable plastic. Being on the water right next to the aquarium you'd think they'd have being 'green' more on their minds.

Visited the Crab Deck for their Orioles Season Opener event. Music was amazing and the drink was flowing. While here I indulged in the quarter pound beef hotdog with crab meat. The crabmeat and cheese could've been a little more hot but, overall it was a fun deelish dish. Also while here I had a half dozen crabs. Nicely seasoned, they were meaty and a nice size. The crab deck is nice day vibe, just don't look in the water LOL! Service was ok but, you could tell they were short staffed. I'd patronize again. SYOY!

Excellent service provided by Fatima! I didn't know what to expect in terms of ambiance but I would say it's equivalent to that of Red Lobster. We had the lobster broil for 2. It was overwhelming, a generous portion for 4 (in my opinion) - lobster, crab, clams, shrimps, mussels, corn and potatoes. I am glad we gave ourselves the chance to experience Phillips.

Overall, the food was delicious! Only complaint was the crab dip was a bit watery & lacking with meat. However, our waitress was happy to rectify right away. The restaurant is beautiful with a lovely ambiance. We went in the evening so, we were able to enjoy the sunset at the harbor just a few steps away. Our waitress was amazing! She took care of us and met all our expectations. Would definitely recommend!

Absolutely phenomenal meal and dining experience! The restaurant is right in the harbor and the decor is uniquely nautical in a way that gives fine dining vibes. Everything on the menu sounded delicious and I was famished so I splurged a bit and got the steak and crab cake - perfection! Ample portion size, great crab cake and piece of steak, and the mashed potatoes and asparagus were also spot on. After seeing pics of it on Yelp, I also had to get the crab dip to share which I highly recommend. And to top it all off they came around with a dessert tray and I couldn't say no to the chocolate chip cookie ice cream sandwich! It was so good it literally had me happy dancing in my seat! I left very full and very satisfied - definitely recommend visiting Phillips!

This is where my cousin wanted to eat for graduation. It was a great choice. Cameron was our server and did a great job of going over specials, drink orders and food orders. He was attentive enough not to be annoying which I appreciate. Only hit was the host who looked angry and bothered that we should be eating there or that anyone was eating there at all. Please remove that kind of employee from the greeting area. When you are expected to pay X-hundreds for dinner the last thing you want is a sour faced host seating you at 5pm. Rant done but that took a star off (Yelp add half stars) cause she would have cost 1.5 stars off. My cousin was ok with it when she and I entered but I was not. Food was awesome! My cousin who has been an Elite for 14 years (she knows I should have been an elite the same amount of time but my elites back then were lame) and I walked the pier as we waited for my family trapped in a parking lot after graduation. We went in early and had some appetizers and drink. The crab dip and poke nachos were yum. Once family came we asked for more bread and were provided it as the portion for appetizers was surprisingly large. Cameron delivered everything on time and in sequence. Entrees were awesome and I ordered surf and turf. The lobster tail was a good size and the steak done to medium rare as asked. It was tasty and delicious. My aunts and dad liked their foods and they ordered seafood as well. The dining experience was superb. Price is fair, maybe high but along the lines of Scott's Seafood and Grill in San Francisco and Oakland, CA but a tad cheaper and not a table cloth experience. Though the Oakland Scott's location has a view of the Bay, Philips did not seem to have a view of Baltimore Harbor however, they do have patio seating outside. No way were we dining out in 40ish degree weather. Food is legit and that was nice considering we were starving. Cameron delivered everything on time and in order. I did have a really good fruity cocktail and a killer local Baltimore beer. Ambiance was nice but unspectacular as well. It is a typical sit down style eating area with open sections. Can't really complain but no wow factor. It was nice to reconnect with an Aunt who remembered me as a little kid so chatting with her was nice. Places where you can chat without screaming is so nice. Overall it was a nice place to celebrate my cousin's graduation and everyone was chatty so it was awesome! Now when I move back east, would I come back here? Yes, but will most definitely eat in the outside dining area.
